Fartcoin, the Solana-based meme coin from AI bot Truth Terminal, hit a new all-time high on Friday, pushing its market capitalization to $1.5 billion in less than two months after its launch, according to CoinGecko data.
The token’s price rose 9% to $1.5 over the past 24 hours, recording weekly gains of 44%. FARTCOIN has surged over 600% in the past month, currently ranking as the fifth-largest memecoin on the Solana blockchain. Its market capitalization is behind only Bonk (BONK), ai16z (AI16Z), Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) and dogwifhat (WIF).
FARTCOIN is now the second largest AI coin, after AI16Z, which recently became the first AI token on Solana to exceed $2 billion in market cap. If the bullish momentum continues, Fartcoin will soon join AI16Z in the $2 billion club.
The rally comes amid a surge in AI coins over the past week, which has propelled the market value of the niche sector to over $10 billion.
